About Me and My Tai Chi Story

My Mission and Purpose:

Utilizing the methods inside of Tai Chi and Qigong, I want to help others become more aware of themselves, and gain a deeper sense of wellbeing and harmony in their everyday experiences. From the physical to the emotional and mental levels, I want to help people learn methods that will bring about more stability, balance and ease to their lives.

Hello there,

My name is Jeffrey.

Tai Chi first showed up in my dream life on such a regular basis that I became somewhat obsessed with figuring out what these mysterious movements were. As I researched and investigated, I discovered Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan and was surprised to find out that my uncle had been practicing Tai Chi for over 20 some years! He agreed to show me what he had learned and studying with him ignited an infinite hunger and passion for Tai Chi.

I’ve been practicing Tai Chi almost daily going on 16 years now and it has helped me in incalculable ways throughout my life since beginning the practice. I was having severe pains in my feet and knees, Tai Chi helped me correct the structural issues I had developed and allowed me the time and space to gain flexibility and strength. The calm, slow, meditative movements helped me merge my meditation practices with my everyday life. Suddenly, it seemed to me, everything became Tai Chi. Putting on my clothing, driving my car, playing tennis, serving tables in the restaurant I worked in, literally everything became filled with this sense of energy and flow.

It has become my entire way of life. No matter the form of doing or happening, it’s all Tai Chi. Every moment is an opportunity to harmonize and bring about an outcome that leads to the growth and empowerment of those involved.

“Tai Chi does not mean oriental wisdom or something exotic. It is the wisdom of your own senses, your own mind and body together as one process.”
